CAFOD’s Christmas Fun Run is back on Wednesday 27th December 2023! You can join hundreds of people around the country as you walk, run, stroll, or roll around this festive fun run with a difference.

Anyone can take part in CAFOD’s Christmas Fun Run! Wherever you are in the country, or even the world, you can take on a festive 3km or 5km route and make a difference to families fighting poverty with every step you take.

Join CAFOD in Liverpool or Bollington for in-person fun runs (see location details below). Sign-up here or come along from 10am to register for an 11am start time.

“If you’re not local to Liverpool or Bollington, don’t worry! You can still take part in the CAFOD virtual Christmas Fun Run,” says CAFOD.

“Whether you’re staying with the in-laws this Christmas, or opting for a sunnier Christmas abroad, all you need to do is lace up those trainers and tackle your own fun run locally to you. Sign-up here, and your donation will be supporting CAFOD’s work around the world.

“Runners, walkers, wheelchairs, prams, and dogs are all welcome! We encourage participants to have some fun, wear fancy dress, share pictures on social media and, ultimately, raise money by taking part and gaining sponsorship.”

How to make your Fun Run even more special

• Run with other people – gather your friends, family, and four-legged friends. You could maybe meet with your parish.
• Remember to share your fundraising page. If you raise £100, we’ll send you a free CAFOD running vest!
• Take lots of pictures of all the fun, and don’t forget your most merry fancy dress – it is a fun run after all! Please share your photos on social media tagging @CAFOD #CAFODFunRun, or send them to events@cafod.org.uk.
