The Diocese of Salford is sorry to share the sad news that Fr William ‘Billy’ Molloy has died unexpectedly on Sunday 14th April.
Fr Billy was originally from Castlerea and worked as a priest in the Manchester area. Upon his retirement, he moved back to his native county and was living in Convent Court in Roscommon town.

His niece Kate and her partner Cathal. Also, by his aunt Mary (Connaughton, Roscommon) and his uncle Seamus (Dublin). His extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea, on Wednesday evening, from 5pm until 6:30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea on Thursday morning, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, with burial afterwards in St. Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.
