The Centre for Applied Carmelite Spirituality (CACS) at Boars Hill, Oxford, is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader for the new role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Our mission is to deepen spiritual growth and enrich lives through Carmelite contemplation, community, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement a strategic plan that aligns with our mission, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
•. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations. Develop operational policies to enhance performance and integrate various programmes into a unified strategy.
•. Financial Sustainability: Manage the budget, monitor financial performance, and develop strategies for securing funding and resources, including fundraising and grants.
•. Programme Development: Lead the creation and execution of new and existing programmes, meeting the needs of diverse audiences and maintain high standards.
•. Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost the visibility and impact of CACS’s offerings.
•. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and participants.
•. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all operations and programmes comply with relevant laws and regulations. Uphold standards of excellence in programme delivery and operational management through regular reviews and audits.
•. Team Leadership: Lead and develop teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture with ongoing training and development.
