The Oratorian Community at Sacred Heart, Bournemouth is displaying a life-size replica of the Turin Shroud as part of an exhibition highlighting the Shroud and its remarkable history.
The exhibition has opened in the Oratory Undercroft at Sacred Heart Bournemouth, and the Fathers and Brothers of the Bournemouth Oratory are inviting everyone to experience this extraordinary object and its related accompanying artefacts, which provide an informative and contextual understanding of the shroud. The Official Shroud brochure will be on sale during the exhibition. The exhibition will run until Sunday 10th November. You can download a poster here.
School groups are asked to book in advance, and parish groups may be accommodated on certain weekends, by prior arrangement. The Oratory is also simultaneously hosting Blessed Carlo Acutis’ International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles, with 40 informative panels around the inside of the Oratory Church, which complements the Shroud exhibition, and of interest to people of any faith or none, as well as to historians, medics, and scientists.
