Deacon John Hawthorne (Hexham) RIP

The Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle has announced the sad news of the death of Deacon John Anthony Hawthorne. John was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on 10th July 2010.

John sadly passed away on Wednesday 10th April, he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to British Heart Foundation and WaterAid.

John’s body will be received in Sacred Heart Church, North Gosforth at 4.00pm on Monday 6 May. His Requiem Mass will be on Tuesday 7 May at 10.30am at Sacred Heart Church followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium. Bishop Stephen will be the Principal Celebrant at the Requiem Mass.

May he rest in peace.
